Rotary Club of Floreal and JCI Hold Joint Meeting at Gymkhana Club

The Rotary Club of Floreal, in collaboration with JCI, held their joint meeting on Thursday, 29th February 2024, at the Gymkhana Club – Vacoas.

The meeting was well-attended by members and prospects from both clubs. President Atish Soodhoo of the Rotary Club of Floreal emphasized the club’s objectives, its unwavering commitment to community service, and the core principle of Service Above Self. Similarly, President Swatee Umapathy of JCI Beau Bassin highlighted the importance of community projects and upcoming initiatives. Both Presidents agreed on the significant synergy between the two clubs, noting the potential for joint efforts on future projects aimed at benefiting the community.

The two clubs are now looking forward to working closely together for a common purpose in the near future.

The meeting was further graced by the presence of Dr. Tavisha Gunesh, an official from the Ministry of Health & Wellness, who delivered a valuable presentation on preconception care. Members had an engaging discussion with Dr. Gunesh, and many important questions were answered.
